MEDUSA© App Market, your one-stop destination for discovering and downloading a wide array of applications designed specifically for MEDUSA©. In addition to this, you also have the opportunity to contribute your own apps to the community, fostering collaboration and innovation. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to navigate on MEDUSA© App Market:

Step 1. Discover Applications. Browse through a diverse selection of applications tailored to MEDUSA©. These apps are created to enhance and expand the functionality of MEDUSA. Whether you are healthcare professional, researcher or enthusiast, you will find apps that cater to your needs.
Step 2.Contribute you own Apps. Are you an app developer or have a unique application that you believe would benefit MEDUSA© community? you can share your own apps with us. Simply follow our submission guidelines to make your app accessible to others.
Step 3. Explore existing applications . Explore the existing library of applications that have already been developed for MEDUSA. This is your opportunity to see what others have created and find applications that can be seamlessly integrated into your MEDUSA© environment.
Step 4. Applications categories. We have organized the apps into distinct categories, making it easier for you to find what you need. Categories include: BCI (Brain-computer interface), ERP (Event related potentials), MI (Motor imagery), NF (Neurofeedback), and NEUROTEST. If you prefer to explore all available applications without category restrictions, simply click on the All items option to see the complete list.

In the following sections of this tutorial you will learn how to create applications in MEDUSA© and how to edit them.

Creating a New App

When you click on Create a new app in App Market ,you'll be prompted to provide the following details:

  • App identifier. This is a unique ID assigned to each application, ensuring its distinct identification within the system.
  • Associated file. Specify the file extension corresponding to the application's group, which could be CVEP, ERP, MI, etc.
  • App name. Enter a descriptive name for your application, providing users with a clear understanding of its purpose.
  • Tags. Add relevant labels that describe the type of your application. Tags help categorize and organize apps within the App market. making it easier for users to find specific types of applications. At least one tag must be chosen!
  • Visibility. Choose between making your applications private or public. Opting for public visibility promotes open science, allowing others to access and benefit from your creation!
  • Caption. This is a concise description field where you can provide a brief but highly precise summary of your app's content and purpose, limited to under 100 characters.
  • Description. Present a detailed but easily understandable explanation of your application to users. This description should hep users understand the app's functionality and features.

  • After creating your application, you'll be directed to App Details page, where you cand find comprehensive information about your application, including its unique identifier, associated file type, name, tags, visibility status, caption and description. This page provides users with in-depth insights into your app's purpose and usage, ensuring a seamless experience.

    Edit app

    By clicking on our application, we can find different sections:

    Functionalities. Relating to the functions of which the application is composed. Describes what our app can do. It's useful to explain the paradigm used, as well as the most relevant functions and recommendations for use.
    Tutorial. The tutorial is a user-friendly guide that walks your through the most important features and functionalities of the application, ensuring that you can make the most of what it has to offer.
    Downloads. In this section, you can upload a new version of your application. Here, you'll specify:
    • The target version of MEDUSA© platform.
    • The version type:
    • - Bug Fix. If it addressees and corrects a specific issue or bug.
      - Minor Update. Update with small changes, improvements or additional features that aren't overly significant.
      - Major update. Reserved for substantial changes to the application. Next, you'll select the app package for your application and provide a list of the main functionalities or changes implement in this version.
    • The main functionalities or changes made in up to 400 characters.
    Reviews. Positive or negative evaluation or criticism of the application, where the user considers its quality, under a series of personal bias. Reviews are accompanied by a visual rating system, allowing users to assign a maximum of 5 . Within this section, you have the option to edit previously submitted reviews or remove them permanently. Users review provide valuable insights and feedback to help us understand and improve the application based on user opinions.

    We can find 2 buttons:
  • Administration. Different parameters appear for modification:
  • - Edit cover image. Select a representative image of your app (recommended size: 400x400).
    - Edit app details. Please note that the identifier cannot be altered.
    - Authors & permissions. Manage permissions and add new authors to the app.

  • Delete. Allows the application to be permanently deleted.
